Hello, various Whovians glancing at my blog!

I know the rumored year-long hiatus of 2012 is now just a semi-hiatus with episodes in between, but my dear friend had planned a rather brilliant way to deal with the break that she wanted me to share. This is the Doctor Who: 50th Anniversary Mission. She’s going to be watching as much of the original series as she can before the 50th anniversary, and will be vlogging her experience with it. Or, as she’s put it:

I’m going to take advantage of the hiatus next year in preparation for the big 50th anniversary to watch all the episodes of classic Doctor Who I can find, starting with William Hartnell in 1963 and working my way back up to the new revived series with Christopher Eccelston, David Tennant, and Matt Smith.

I thought it might be kind of fun to vlog my progress, so here we are.

I think this is a brilliant way to expose “New Who” Whovians to the classics. It’d be awesome if we could get a little community of vlogs/blogs with everyone’s experience with this. This video is her most recent vlog entry; check it out! ~~lulz it has Top Gear references and clips and whatnot~~

This is my Coraline Jones Tattoo done by One amazing Kelly Gelling at Artful Ink Tattoo Studios in NY. I bare it on my left shoulder. If you’ve seen this movie you’d know this is the scene where she crawls thru her tunnel and enters the perfect world where we all wanna be. I saw this in the theaters in 3D and the visuals along with the vivid colors blew my mind. Kelly is amazing with color tattoos and knew she would translate this perfectly onto my body. She is my tattoo artist and one of my closest friends.
